Gladiator Bahamoote SP230GF or Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF (グラディエーターバハムディアSP230GF, Guradeieetaa Bahamudeia SP230GF) is a God Element Balance Type Beyblade that appears in the anime and manga series Beyblade: Shogun Steel. It is Kira Hayama's second Beyblade, replacing Berserker Behemoth SR200 BWD in the anime, (in the manga Bahamoote/Bahamdia was the direct evolution of Behemoth/Begirados). It was released as a Starter (BBG-27) on December 1, 2012 in Japan, and later in western countries as a Starter Pack (SS-27) in March 2014, along with Samurai Pegasus W105R2F it was the last Beyblade released until the advent of the Burst System in 2015.

Parts Overview[]

Stone Face: Bahamut[]

  • Weight: 1.2 grams

This diamond-shaped Face illustrates a Bahamut. The drawing is inspired from the Begirados Face mark since Bahamdia is its evolution in the Metal Fight Beyblade Zero-G manga, while being a slightly less menacing version.

Warrior Wheel: Bahamut[]

  • Weight: 29.35 grams

Bahamdia resembles a reinforced Gargole Chrome Wheel: the demonic head is however positioned at the top of the circumference and the Crystal Wheel's orb protrudes at the bottom, between vague claws. Its relief is created by silky segments forming rounded rectangles as well as few sharp stops indicating horns or wings. This Chrome Wheel's design seems rather inflated at the top compared to the bottom half.

Crystal Wheel: Gladiator[]

  • Weight: 5.37 grams

Shaped very symmetrically, Gladiator simply illustrates four half-length swords circling its design, meeting in pairs at their tips. The overall shape created is four-sided, with rather abrupt edges.

Track: SP230 (Spike Point)[]

  • Weight: 7.45 grams

SP230 resembles a BD145 Track with the latter's protrusions made longer and necessarily facing downwards. Its disk consequently extends far along the Chrome Wheel's length, easily equalling, and it has four "claw-shaped" protrusions which are meant to control speed.

Tip: GF (Giga Flat)[]

  • Weight: 0.74 grams

Pronounced "Guee-gah Flat", this Bottom is a bolder, larger and slightly taller version of the XF tip. It notably does not have the plastic lines on its side, like the Extreme Flat Bottom has.

Trivia[]

  • Gladiator Bahamoote is one of two God Element Beyblades, the other being Samurai Pegasus W105R2F.
    • Fittingly, they form the God Synchrome Beyblade, Pegasus Bahamoote SP230R2F.
  • In the manga, Gladiator Bahamoote is the direct evolution of its predecessor, Berserker Behemoth SR200BWD. This is not the case in the anime, where they are considered separate entities.
  • Although the Bahamut was originally depicted as a large fish, franchises such as Beyblade, Final Fantasy, and Dragoma have depicted it as a dragon.
  • The fate of this Bey in the anime is unknown. After Gingka disassembled Pegasus Bahamoote SP230R2F to restore his Samurai Pegasus W105R2F, Bahamoote does not appear again, with Kira using Behemoth Golem DF145BS to help defeat Robo Doji.
