StormAquario

Storm Aquario 100HF/S is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Hybrid Wheel System. It was released as a Starter Pack by Hasbro in western countries in May 2010.

Parts overview

Face Bolt - Aquario[]

Flowing aquatic creatures

The Face Bolt depicts "Aquarius", the eleventh astrological sign in the Zodiac. Aquarius is one of the 88 constellations in space, and is often represented by a water carrier. As such, the design features a vase of water with a face, and an arm made of water with the word "AQRO" (in the Takara Tomy release) or "Aquario" (in the Hasbro release). Some Hasbro releases, such as Hyper Aquario 105F, omit the word entirely, leaving the arm blank. The design included with Cyber Aquario 105RF features abstract water drops instead.

Energy Ring - Aquario[]

Main article: Energy Ring - Aquario

Aquario is a circular Energy Ring featuring a wave pattern that repeats itself four times. It is one of the heaviest Energy Rings available, making it one of the best choices for Defense and Stamina Type combinations in the Hybrid Wheel System and 4D System.

Fusion Wheel - Storm[]

Main article: Fusion Wheel - Storm

Storm is the first Attack Type Fusion Wheel released in the Hybrid Wheel System. As the successor to the Pegasis Wheel, it features a similar three-winged design, although these wings are flatter compared to Pegasis. Each of the wings have slightly jagged ends, which are used for mediocre Smash Attack. When paired with low Spin Tracks like 90 and 100, Storm was once a top-tier Attack Type part. However, it has since been outclassed by countless other Fusion Wheels, such as Vulcan, Lightning and later Blitz and Flash. In addition, Spiral can be considered the successor to Storm, with a similar shape and superior attack capabilties. There is a mold variation of Storm: some releases feature extra metal on the underside, in the deepest channels parallel to the gaps in the wings.

Spin Track - 100[]

Main article: Spin Track - 100

100 is the third lowest Spin Track available, but is outclassed in terms of Attack and Stamina by the even lower 85 and 90 Spin Tracks. 100 has no problem with floor scrapes, and while it is generally an outclassed part, it is still competitively viable, particularly in Attack customizations where it is able to make contact with opposing Beyblades.

Performance Tip - Hole Flat/Spike[]

Main article: Performance Tip - Hole Flat/Spike

Hole Flat/Spike is an unique Performance Tip with a mode change gimmick. At the time of its release, it was the tallest Performance Tip available. The tip can be changed in between battles, from Hole Flat to Spike. This is done by rotating the lower potion of the Performance Tip, and is intended to allow players to adapt their strategy between battles. While in its Spike mode, it has balance issues due to its taller height. In Hole Flat mode, while it is taller and wider than a regular Hole Flat, it suffers from stability issues due to its height.

Anime[]

It made its debut in episode 6, where Hikaru defeated Benkei and five other Face Hunters. Benkei told her that she should battle Gingka because he was a strong opponent. Gingka was sick however, so Hikaru battled Kenta instead. Aquario defeated Kenta's bey many times and Hikaru walked away with all of Kenta's points.

In episode 7, Kenta was determined to beat Hikaru, so Benkei gave him some special training. Meanwhile, Tetsuya told Hikaru that she battled Kenta, not Gingka. While on her way to battle the real Gingka, she encountered the new and improved Kenta. Aquario battled Sagittario twice, the first time they tied, but the second time it lost to Kenta's new special move.

In episode 9, it battled Storm Pegasus. In spite of its Infinite Assault attack, Gingka was still able to spot the real Aquario with the sun's reflection and won with StarBlast Attack.

In episode 20, Aquario defeats many unnamed bladers and their beys in the survival battle.

In episode 21, It battled Rock Leone to a stalemate until the battle was interrupted by three bladers. Kyoya tracked them down and defeated them, while Hikaru went away. She later took on Kenta, Benkei, and Yu all at once. Although Aquario, Bull, and Sagittario attacked many times, they were weakened by Libra's Sonic Buster and were all defeated with Inferno Blast attack.

In episode 31, It battled Rock Leone in the semifinals of a challenge match. Although it put up a good fight, it was defeated.

In episode 41, It battled Lightning L Drago in the premilmaries ofBattle Bladers. However, it was mercilessly defeated by Ryuga's Dark Move Dragon Emperor Soaring Bite Strike.
